After having collaborated successfully in other architectural firms, NOA Partners teamed up in 2011 uniting their creativity, and exchanging experiences gathered a list of projects that marked each one’s process and perception of architecture.

Spyros Th. Spyrou

Spyros (1976) grew up in Nicosia, Cyprus. He received BA (Hons) Interior Architecture from the University of Brighton (2000) and his Diploma in Architecture from the University of East London (2003). He was nominated by the Building Design Magazine for “Class of 2000 – the UK’s top 100 Students” and participated in RIBA’s London Design Exhibition: “Future House London” – with the project “Wilmer Place N16- Home in Transition” (2004). During 2004-2010, as Senior Architect for Zenon Sierepeklis Architects, he obtained wide experience working on varied projects in public and private sector and participated in numerous architectural competitions. Since 2011 he teaches between other Architectural Communication Skills, 1st year Design Studios and Urban Design at the University of Nicosia.  Since 2013 he teaches Architectural Practice Course and Design Studios at the School of Architecture of the University of Cyprus. He co-curated the National Participation of Cyprus entitled Revisit at the 13th International Architecture Exhibition La Biennale di Venezia (2012). Since 2011 he is a Partner Architect of NOA – not only architecture.

 

 

Charis

Charis Christodoulou

Charis (1981) grew up in Paphos, Cyprus. He graduated from the University of Patras, Department of Architecture (2005) and continued his post-graduate studies in Urban Design receiving an MAS-UD, ETH-Zurich (2008). During 2006-2011 he worked as an architect in various architectural offices in Cyprus. In collaboration with Aggela Zisimopoulou, he participated at the 11th International Architecture Exhibition La Biennale di Venezia (2008) with the project “Light and Shadow – Oases of Relaxation” as part of the national participation of Cyprus and co-curated the exhibition “Through a Broken Mirror – The Architecture of Zenon Sierepeklis” at the Nicosia Municipal Arts Centre (2009). Since 2009 he teaches architectural theory and design at the department of Architecture, Frederick University. Since 2011 he teaches landscape architecture at the Department of Architecture, University of Cyprus. He co-curated the National Participation of Cyprus entitled Revisit at the 13th International Architecture Exhibition La Biennale di Venezia (2012). Since 2011 he is a Partner Architect of NOA – not only architecture.

 

 

Aggela

Aggela Zisimopoulou

Aggela (1981) grew up in Nafpaktos, Greece. She studied Architecture at the University of Patras (1999-2005) and received a Master of Advanced Studies in Architecture with specialization in Urban Design from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, ETH-Zurich (2008). During 2006-2010 she worked for Zenon Sierepeklis Architects in Nicosia, gaining experience on a diverse range of large and small scale projects. In collaboration with Charis Christodoulou, she participated at the 11th International Architecture Exhibition La Biennale di Venezia (2008) with the project “Light and Shadow – Oases of Relaxation” as part of the Cyprus’ National Participation and co-curated the exhibition “Through a Broken Mirror – The Architecture of Zenon Sierepeklis” at the Nicosia Municipal Arts Centre (2009). She was an assistant curator of the Cyprus’ National Participation_Revisit at the 13th International Architecture Exhibition La Biennale di Venezia (2012). Ioanna-Photo-01Ioanna Evagorou _ collaborator

Ioanna (1991) grew up in Nicosia, Cyprus. She received her Diploma in Architecture Engineering from National Technical University of Athens -NTUA (Greece) in 2016 with excellence (9,11/10), ranked among the first students of her year. During her studies, she received honours and scholarships (5th-6th semester ranked 3rd of the year, Erasmus Programme Scholarship, etc.). She studied as an exchange student in ISCTE University in Lisbon, Portugal. Her final thesis and research thesis were published in architectural magazines in Greece and Cyprus. She worked as an Architectural Intern in Grupo Aranea Architecture Studio in Spain, where she had the opportunity to participate in International Architectural Competitions which have been awarded and published in international magazines.

Since December 2016 she works as an Architectural Assistant at NOA Architects- not only architecture, and editor of cy-arch.com architectural magazine.

Anthimos Papapericleous_collaborator

Anthimos (1992) grew up in Larnaca, Cyprus. He received his Bachelor and Diploma in Architecture from the University of Nicosia in 2017 with a total CPA 3.689 out of 4.00 with the honours of Cum Laude. During his five-year studies he received scholarships for his academic excellence as well as the awards of the most sensitive and perfectionist student of his year. In 2015 he participated in the workshop with Daniele Mancini where with his team he proposed, designed and constructed an inflatable pavilion in Nicosia.
His Graduating project Proeter Viovem – Beyond Sight was one of 30 projects out of the 155 shortlisted for the European Architectural Medals 2017 and it was one of the two representatives of his University chosen for the President medal student awards.

Since 2018 he works as an architectural assistant at NOA – Architects where he is completing his architectural practice.
